You did not bother me at all, Anon! I’m just that bad with memes hasuahysuagsuy. But Kings and Queens, aah, now you’re talking my language! <3

I hope no one is offended by it, I honestly only picked Kings and Queens I liked/admired ç_ç

THIS IS ME AFTER FINISHING: IT TOOK TIME. IT WAS PROBABLY THE HARDEST THING I’VE EVER DONE BUT I DID IT.

… It probably also shows quite clearly how much I love A Song of Ice and Fire.

THE HIGH LADIES

Deni, @beckcobalt : Elizaveta Pretrovna, Empress of Russia. Beautiful, and also strong, who spent large sums of money in architecture, dresses, fiercely opposed to Prussia and who refused to execute a single person during her reign.

Kahlia@monstrouss: Nefertiti, Queen of Egypt. Wife of Akhenaten, who reigned over what was perhaps the wealthiest period of Ancient Egypt, and maybe ruled briefly under another name after his death. Kahlia is that great, and that inspirational for me.

THE DAWN COURT

Silvia, @grishaeQueen Victoria of the United Kingdom. Two words: victorian era. It’s one of my favourite time periods, ever a source of inspiration, just like Silvia is to me, so, she’s Queen Victoria.

Audrey@petekavinsky Alysanne Targaryen, the Good Queen. Well loved in the Seven Kingdoms and known to be charming, keenly-intelligent and high spirited, as well as charitable. All traits which remind me of Audrey.

Shannon@rencrownPadmé Amidala, Queen of Naboo. A smart, kindhearted woman who fought for peace and what she believed to be right. I’ve always though very highly of Padmé, just like I think of Shannon.

THE NIGHT COURT

Kesh, @aedionashryvers: Leopoldina of Austria, Empress of Brazil. Perhaps the most important woman in my country’s history, who played a fundamental role in our independence. She’s a great inspiration to me, and honestly, as one of MY biggest inspirations ever, it’s only fair to point Kesh as Leopoldina.

Amelia@rosecobalteTheodora, Byzantine Empress. Not just a consort, but co-empress of Byzantium, who stood her ground when Justinian and the officers prepared to flee. Badass, just like Amelia.

❧ Kale@ohboyd: Nymeria, Princess of Ny Sar. Badass and wise enough to escape the wrath of Valyria, she’s brave and determined- just like Kale appears to me. They’re both honest to god goals.

❧ Malia, @fleurrdelacour: Maria Theresa, Empress of Austria. Another woman I admire, the only female ruler of the Habsburg Dominions. Malia, talented queen and inspiration that she is, couldn’t be anything less.

THE DAY COURT

❧ Julie@ghansey: Cleopatra, Queen of Egypt. An icon like Julie deserves an icon like Cleopatra. A powerful woman in her own right, and someone I sincerely see as strong and smart.

❧ Tristan@modernbookfae: Elizabeth I, Queen of England. What to say of Good Queen Bess? She must have been an incredible woman, and I admire her reign a lot, just like I admire Tristan.

Anees@nestarcheron: Lucy Pevensie, the Valiant. The youngest of the Pevensie Children and the first to discover Narnia, kind, loving and always willing to help those in need.

Bea, @aurror: Margaery Tyrell, Queen of the Seven Kingdoms. I adore Margaery: she is intelligent, cunning, generous, sweet and kind, and not all of it seems to be fake. It’s one of my favourite characters from ASOIAF, and Bea deserves it.

THE WINTER COURT

❧ Tash@warneraarron : Alyssa Velaryon, Queen of the Seven Kingdoms.  This is the woman who went against Maegor the Cruel for her children’s claim to the throne. This takes a lot of courage, and strength. That says a lot of Tash’s impression on me.

❧ Jocelyn@inejgahfas: Boudicca, Queen of the Iceni. The woman who led an uprising against Rome, she burned and destroyed Londinium (London). The crisis was so huge Nero considered withdrawing from Britain. Jocelyn is that fierce, and awesome.

❧ Melissa@lilabard: Wu Zetian, Empress of China. I’ve always admired Melissa, and so I had to pick a great one for her, So, Wu Zetian, who ruled chine for 15 years and was a leader during a period of expansion, as well as one who influenced the literature, education, religion.

❧ Sal@jamesfraserrCatherine of Aragon, Queen of England. Despite her tragic history, I admire Catherine A LOT. She was the first female ambassador in european history, and acted as regent for Henry while he was in France. There’s also so much more people don’t know. She’s impressive, and so is Sal.

THE SUMMER COURT

❧ Brooke, @gisabarrowEleanor of Aquitaine, Queen of England and France. One of the wealthiest and most powerful women in the Higher Middle Ages, a patron of literature and one of the leaders of the second crusade. She’s iconic- and so is Brooke to me.

❧ Hazel@amjnyard: Visenya Targaryen, Queen of the Seven Kingdoms. Another Targaryen! And a warrior, this time, the woman behind the Kingsguard. To be honest, Hazel, I see you as a warrior, you are strong and honestly, also a badass. So Visenya Targaryen to you, with all my admiration.

THE AUTUMN COURT

Natalia@nikolailatnsov:  Eugenie of Montijo, Empress of France. Unfortunately, I haven’t had the opportunity to interact with Natalia much, but the small I have, she reminded me of Eugenie. Described as good, generous, active and firm.

THE SPRING COURT

❧ Sage@cristinarosalesLouis XIV, King of France. The King who built Versailles, Sun King, reigning for 72 Years. Sage is the picture of self-confidence which I wish I could have, and it’s only fitting that he gets the one who said “L'État c'est moi”.
